Beach-Blanket Movie Series

Back again this summer by popular request! Join us on the beach for a big screen movie under the stars. You will be amazed when you watch your favorite flicks come to life on our huge 10'x14’'movie screen combined with our 1000 watt sound system. A concession stand will be available with sodas, candy, and fresh popcorn. Please see specific movie summaries below for more details. Pre-register now and save! Please Note: The park will be open for the duration of the movie only, swimming and other activities are not permitted.

FLUSHED AWAY

From DreamWorks Animation and Aardman Features, the teams behind the Oscar®-winning hits "Shrek" and "Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit," comes the computer-animated comedy "Flushed Away." This animated feature tells the story of an uptown rat (Hugh Jackman) who is flushed down a toilet in his penthouse apartment and winds up in the sewers of London, where he has to learn a whole new way of life.

CHARLOTTE’S WEB

Fern (Dakota Fanning) can see that Wilbur is a special animal as she raises him, the runt of the litter, into a terrific pig. As Wilbur moves into a new barn, he begins a second friendship with the most unlikely of creatures, a spider named Charlotte, and their bond inspires the animals around them to come together as a family. When the word gets out that Wilbur's days are numbered, Charlotte begins writing messages in her web to save her friend's neck.

HAPPY FEET

In the great nation of Emperor Penguins in Antarctica, you're nobody unless you can sing, which is bad news for Mumble (Elijah Wood), who is the worst singer in the world. But he sure can tap dance. Mumble's mom, Norma Jean (Nicole Kidman), thinks his dancing is cute, but his dad, Memphis (Hugh Jackman), says it "just ain't penguin." Besides, they both know that, without a "heartsong," Mumble may never find true love. His one friend, Gloria (Brittany Murphy), happens to be the best singer around, and the two have a connection from the moment they hatch, even though she has a tough time understanding her pal's eccentricities.

THE PRESTIGE

Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale bring the characters of Rupert Angier and Alfred Bordon to life. Rupert and Alfred were young magician apprentices together, but became bitter rivals as their careers began to shape their adult lives and a terrible accident claimed the life of Rupert's wife. In the subsequent years Rupert has become wildly jealous of Alfred's superior talents, so in a last ditch attempt to steal some artistic ground he sends his assistant, Olivia (Scarlett Johansson), to infiltrate his rival’s lair and steal the secret to a spectacular trick called “The Transported Man.”
