Special Discounted Tickets for our Members at Two Great Theme Parks
Winding Trails is happy to announce this special offer to all of its members. You and your family can get special rates at two of New England’s Best Amusement Parks; Six Flags of New England in Agawam, MA and Lake Compounce in Bristol, CT. The ticket price is $32.50 for Six Flags, (regular rate: $49.99). Lake Compounce rates are $23.95 for anyone 52" or taller, (regular rate: $32.95). These prices will be the lowest around.
Breakfast and Fun with Peter Rabbit
That fine, furry friend will join us this year for pancakes, bacon, sausage, and other assorted breakfast items. There will also be related crafts and an egg hunt. Registration is required by Wednesday, March 29th .

Family Flashlight Egg Hunt
Your entire family will be literally pulling at each other as they scramble for all the holiday goodies. This year promises even more treasures and treats for all. Every family will receive a golden egg and inside you could win a gift certificate, t-shirts and more. All you need is a flashlight, your family and a goodie bag. Registration is required by Wednesday, April 5th.

59th Annual Children’s Fishing Derby
O.K. kids! Get those casting arms ready! Children ages 5 to 15 are eligible to participate in this great annual event. Prizes will be awarded in two age groups and several categories. Prizes are donated by local clubs including: The Knights of Columbus & The Farmington Game Club. Prizes include a bike, rods and reels, and more. Registration will be handled at the gate upon arrival.

Family Fun-Ride Day!
Bring the entire family out for a fun-filled day that will include access to the bike race course a day early for pre-rides with the family, bounce houses, use of our giant 120’ slide, a climb up our 35 foot climbing tower, and hot dogs for lunch. The agenda for the day is family fun. Won’t you join us? Proceeds from this event will benefit the Winding Trails Annual Fund that supports special projects and programs as well as provides scholarships for kids to attend camp.

11th Annual Winding Trails Fat Tire Classic
Winding Trails, Inc. is proud to be a part of the Root 66 Northeast XC Mountain Bike Race Series. This series consists of 15 NORBA sanctioned events held at different venues around New England. All levels of riders are encouraged to register. The 5 mile loop is designed on Winding Trails’ Cross Country Ski Trails and includes wide-open trails, hills, and turns combined with sections of technical single track. Beginner, sport, expert, and pro classes will run with a variety of age groups. Distances will vary according to each class. Mike Steidley is the 2003 US National Champion and one of the most exciting and extreme mountain bike riders in North America. Witness Mike’s unique and entertaining show during our Fat Tire Classic Bike Race on April 23rd or during our Smashing Pumpkins Bike Race on September 24th. See the full description on page 11.
Touch-A-Truck Day
Mark your calendar for this popular event made possible due to the generosity of local companies and agencies. You may see fire trucks, rescue vehicles, garbage trucks, backhoes, dump trucks, and many more. We also hope to have Life-star again this year. If you or your company has a truck and want to be included, call the main office at 677-8458. Bring your toy trucks and play in our sand! Several toy trucks will be raffled off at the end of the day. Refreshments will be available for a nominal fee.

Climbing Tower Programs
This is a two-hour program presented on the Bouldering Wall, Climbing Tower and Zip Line.
The Climbing tower and Zip Line are designed to provide a more individual challenge and to build self-confidence while still relying on the group support system. The tower activities include an 8' x 30' Bouldering Wall for practice before the climbing tower. The Climbing tower is 40' high consisting of 3 sides; a 15' Beginner wall with incline, a 30'-35' Intermediate vertical wall, a 30'-35' Advanced wall with incline and overhangs. The 300' long Zip Line is located at the top platform of the tower. A safety system (belay system) is used with the Tower and 2 Extreme Engineering auto belay system.

Play and Stay Overnight
This program provides you and your family the opportunity to spend some quality time together. Make memories your kids will cherish forever while enjoying dozens of activities and camping out at Winding Trails. Activities available include soccer, basketball, hiking, baseball, boating, archery and more. You bring a tent, sleeping bags and toiletries and we do the rest! This is a very popular program so early registration is advised. We will take registrations up to one week prior to each camp out. A BBQ on Friday night (6:30pm-7:30pm) and a continental breakfast on Saturday morning (7:00am8:30am) are included. Please note: the availability of archery and boating are based on certified staff availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Winding Trails Tri-Training Series
The weekly triathlon series will run on Tuesday evenings at Winding Trails. This year’s series will consist of a 1/4-mile swim or kayak in Dunning Lake, a 8k trail ride (you must use a hybrid or off-road bike for the biking portion of the race), and a 5K-trail run through our beautiful woods. All ability levels are encouraged to come out and train in this friendly and fun environment.

Summer Kickoff

Mike Steidley - Stunt Rider

He has represented the U.S. on 7 world championship teams and was the highest ranked U.S. rider at the inaugural Red Bull Bike Battle. HOODWINKED
Hoodwinked is a star-studded and hilarious animated re-telling of the classic Red Riding Hood fable, the story begins at the end. Chief Grizzly (Xzibit) and Detective Bill Stork (Anthony Anderson) investigate a domestic disturbance at Granny’s (Glenn Close) Cottage, involving a karate-kicking Red Riding Hood (Anne Hathaway), a sarcastic wolf (Patrick Warburton) and an oafish Woodsman (Jim Belushi).
